Career
Kim Hersland is a Danish citizen based in Copenhagen, Denmark. In 1981 he received his Masters in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School and later qualified as a State Authorised Public Accountant in 1986.
Over the years Kim Hersland has pursued a significant career as auditor and has held positions in Öhrlings Auditors SA and Coopers & Lybrand and in PriceWaterhouseCoopers as international partner. In 2000 he was a founding partner of Ankjær-Jensen & Partners in Copenhagen and in 2010 Kim Hersland joined Baker Tilly as partner and chairman.
Kim Hersland has advised multiple banks and large corporates in connection with M&A and financial cross-border transactions.
In his professional capacity Kim Hersland has served as lecturer at Copenhagen Business School and as examiner at the official auditor exams in Denmark as well as quality controller of audits in Denmark.
As the author of a number of professional articles in accounting and tax periodicals he has established himself as a reputed specialized professional within the field of corporate taxation.
